Hola a todos,
Thank you for helping your child work on their presentation at home! I am hoping to have everyone ready to present by next Monday February 5. They will be showing thier google slides show to the class and read what they put on their slides. Updates for the week:

Hola a todos,
As mentioned in the agenda, if you have time it would be a good idea to practice basic math facts in order to develop addition and subtraction fact fluency. This helps students recall basic facts like a number plus one or a number plus 0 with ease and helps them develop important recall skills that will be required in future grades. This encourages more mental math strategies and helps them develop confidence when working with two digit addition and subtraction with and without regrouping which is what we are focusing on in math this month. Please see pictures below of examples of math fact practice and ways to practice these facts. Also, below is a link with suggested activities sorted by grade. http://everydaymath.uchicago.edu/parents/understanding-em/facts/ Thanks! Sra. Colluney Hola a todos,
We have been working hard on our social studies presentation about the Inuit culture and traditions through the use of google slides. We have been booking the chrome books as much as possible but have to share these chrome books with all the other grade 1, 2, and 3 classes. As a result, some have finished and some need a little extra work and help at home in order to finish them in time. Below is the outline for what needs to be included in the presentation. If your child would like to work on it at home, please use this outline to help out. Each slide needs to include a couple of sentences about the topic, a title, and a picture. I hope this helps! Gracias, Sra. Colluney Hola a todos,
I hope you all had a relaxing and restful Christmas holiday! The kids did an amazing job during the Christmas concert and their hard work and practice showed during their performance in December. I was so proud of them! A few updates for this week are below:
